Listed International Industrial Company Had a Challenges to Launch a New IoT Technology Product
The global industrial company was introducing its first IoT sensor technology as part of their new service business model. The company faced a high risk that it would not be able start customer deliveries in time. The root cause lack of a systematic ways to ensure product quality that was causing a serious quality issues in the new sensor module.
Costiom started the by making a current state analysis (CSA). Based on the CSA, Costiom team did a systematic product launch plan, including definitions for ODM partner production testing quality requirements and product lifetime quality requirement definitions. In addition, Costiom also renewed related supplier agreements, because roles, responsibilities and accountability were not clear. In parallel, Costiom made a plan for an alternative sensor module solution if quality issues were not resolved in sufficient time.
